Up, Up And Away

Up, Up And Away

Flying luxurysuperyacht with no engine is unveiled in new design concept and is transported around the world by 656ft airship in a new, eco-friendly design

The Air Yacht is no ordinary Supermacht design and combines a sea-going vessel that can also travel on land before taking to the skies as an airship.

The mind blowing ideasees theAir Yacht made up of two modules, which can be separated or united according to use. It’s been dreamt up to ‘reinvent navigation’, with the 656ft airship designed to do the bulk of the travelling, and able to reach heights of 9,842ft and speeds of 50 knots. The concept could offer an eco-friendly alternative to conventional super luxe cruisers and be positioned in harbour by tugboats once dropped off.

Of course, the Air Yacht would still provide a high specification exclusive design. A 197ft yacht could offer decadent luxury with 750 square metres of living space featuring a three-story residence housing six rooms, including an owner’s suite - plus all expected glamorous amenities, such as sundecks, jacuzzi, a swimming pool, hammam, and a garage for cars, jet-skis and tenders.

Swiss company AirYacht’s partnersGuillaume Hoddéand Matthieu Ozanneare believed to have collaborated with designer Franck Darnet for the concept, which has been called ‘a new space of freedom on Earth’. AirYacht say their order book is now open with delivery time estimated for 2026 but no price has been disclosed.
