Spas and yachts complement each other with even the spa acronym derived from the Latin phrase Solus Per Aqua, meaning ‘health by water’.

Many of the world’s most decadent yachts and superyachts have ensured they are fully equipped with the latest wellness innovations. Owners and guests enjoy the luxury of time on a Superyacht vacation, allowing for an investment in health and wellbeing, from pampering and nutrition to meditation. From freshly squeezed juices and smoothies and workout or yoga sessions led by an onboard health guru, to personal chefs that cater for special nutritional needs and dietary requests. Onboard Stylishly appointed La Datcha is home to a wellness centre on the lower deck aft, where a Finnish sauna, aromatic hammam, hot tub, massage room and fully equipped gym promises nurtures body, mind and soul. The main attraction in the spa is a mood-lit stalagmite ice fountain embellished with atmospheric LED strobes that allows guests to feel the tingling contrast of cold ice on hot skin after a sauna. 

The spa on Tatiana reveals an inviting use of space that oozes with seductive promises of blissful relaxation. Wind down at the double-decked pools, one above the other and sip a nutritional mocktail while you gaze out to sea. Calming sensory lights work their magic, shining like tiny, flickering stars across glass, marble and polished blue agate. Fatigued limbs? Then enjoy a unhurried massage in syncopated rhythm with the ocean, or opt for the shower and a steam room for the ultimate in Vitamin Sea. 

The owner of 65 metre Life Saga has an exeptional spa onboard, with a beach club, which opens on three sides, and includes a spa pool, built-in sun pads, a sauna. Opulent massage suites offer a tempting menu of relaxation therapies. There is also a high-tech gym adjacent to the pool for those that want to up their fitness.

In contrast, the Romanesque inspired glorious spa aboard Ace is a resplendent in mosaics, semi-precious stones and Byzantine-style columns and hand-painted trompe l’oeil lemon groves. Designed by Andrew Winch, the lower deck spa features a steam-shrouded hammam, sauna, spa pool, icy plunge pool and a chill-out lounge for quiet contemplation. 

There is more Winch splendour to be found aboard 85 metre superyacht Amatasia, a an elegant spa created for the Olympian owner and her athlete guests. Studios for toning, world-class sports facilities, nutrition programmes and the very best restorative treatments are offered here in multiple saunas and steam rooms with a selection of birch and eucalyptus twigs for smoking on the small brazier, a 12-seater spa pool, a full-depth plunge pool (chilled to 8˚C), an ice fountain, hydrotherapy showers, a massage room and "experience showers" which offer varying temperature, light, acoustic and aroma settings.
